About
Lewis Munyoro is a mining executive with over 23 years of experience in the Zimbabwean mining industry, spanning metallurgy, mineral processing, safety, health, environment and quality management (SHEQ), operations management, and project development. He currently serves in an executive leadership role within Pan African Mining (Private) Limited, providing strategic oversight of metallurgical operations, technical services, SHEQ systems, and major capital projects. Throughout his career, Lewis has held a range of technical and leadership positions, contributing to the optimisation of mining and processing operations, brownfield expansions, and the development of new mining projects. His experience encompasses gold processing, metallurgical accounting, process optimisation, mine-to-mill integration, operational excellence, and sustainable mining practices. As a Council Member of the Association of Mine Managers of Zimbabwe (AMMZ), Lewis is committed to advancing professionalism, technical excellence, and responsible mining practices within the industry. He is passionate about developing the next generation of mining professionals and supporting initiatives that strengthen the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of Zimbabwe’s mining sector.
