Coburn Katanda is a mining executive with over 18 years of experience in Zimbabwe’s mining industry, specialising in mine operations, production management and business leadership. He currently serves as General Manager at Dallaglio Pickstone-Peerless Mine and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe, an MBA, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Research from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. A Past President of the Association of Mine Managers of Zimbabwe (AMMZ), Coburn is recognised for his commitment to operational excellence, leadership development and the sustainable growth of Zimbabwe’s mining sector. He is passionate about fostering innovation, developing mining professionals and advancing best practices that improve safety, productivity and industry performance.
