Alfred Madowe
A registered professional mining engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa with specialisation in mine planning. He graduated with a BSc Hons in Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe in 2002 and has published papers on mine planning and slope steeping through the SAIMM. He has 20 years work experience in the mining industry ranging from chrome, platinum, diamonds and gold in both production and mine planning. Alfred has previously worked as a Planning Engineer and Principal Mining Engineer for Gem Diamonds where he worked with the world renowned McKinsey during the company business transformation where he led the implementation of steeper pit slopes and mining contract re-negotiation achieving sustainable savings of over US$15 million per annum.
